Here is the painting I did of my late father-in-law, Harold. This is from a photo taken prior to his illness, so the memories are good during this time with him. I'm including one of the reference photos I used.
Having retired five years ago from a demanding career, I decided to pursue artistic endeavors. I had been doing scratchwork, as a hobby, for years. I decided to try watercolor. It was love at first sight! Now, using a new surface available for scratchwork, called claybord black, I am now combining watercolor and scratchwork. I am represented by a gallery in Oklahoma, but also participate in art shows and exhibits throughout the year and accept commission work, as well. I normally work from my own photographs, painting or "etching" an eclectic mix of subjects. Interested in one of my paintings or scratchwork? Contact me at: firstname.lastname@example.org
